Hi there! I’m Kara and I’m new around here so I wanted to take a few words to introduce myself. I’ll be helping Unlimited Net in the marketing department so you’ll be seeing more of me in the future.
So, who am I? Well, I’m a Purdue grad (Go Boilers!). My background is in public relations and marketing in several industries – nonprofit, healthcare, construction management, and most recently, a data center. Now, I do freelance and with my love of technology, writing, and marketing, Unlimited Net is a great fit! Plus, Jason is just an all around good guy and he definitely knows his stuff which makes learning the hosting sector a little bit easier.
I live in Columbus, Indiana with my husband and our two dogs – Bear and Beta (both girls). Odd names for female dogs, I know. We bought our first house last year and that has been an awesome, albeit stressful, experience. As far as hobbies go, I enjoy movies, reading, cards, puzzles, cooking, baking, and just generally creating things (jewelry, crafts, etc.). If anything, I probably have too many hobbies!
In the coming weeks, you’ll find me blogging about general technology topics. First up will be about some cool tech gadgets, products, and apps. I’ll also blog about hosting topics (of course). If you ever have any thoughts on what you’d like to read about, feel free to share! I’m excited to be a part of the growth of Unlimited Net and look forward to increasing its brand awareness.
